There are certain organizations that change the very fabric of a community. I am blessed to be involved in three such organizations – Earth House Collective, Paramount Theatre, and the Exodus House.
I wanted to give you a brief explanation of all three organizations and ask for your support if you are moved. They are truly changing the lives of individuals in the community of both Indianapolis and Anderson.
Annually Earth House hosts over 500 events and programs and is a downtown community hub for creative individuals, families and those who care about arts, wellness and conscious living.
Earth House is one of those organizations that adds a tremendous value to Indianapolis and I am a proud supporter of their work and I would hope you would consider supporting them as well. All donations received by December 31, 2012 will be matched dollar for dollar by the Efroymson Family Fund so your gift of any amount will be doubled.

Exodus House
One of my best friends started the Exodus House in 2010. Steve Sipka has truly changed the lives of multiple individuals in the Anderson, Indiana area.
The Exodus House recognizes the cycles of addiction, poverty, unemployment, apathy, and criminality at work in our city. They believe these cycles are perpetuated by inequalities, unattainable resources, and personal choices made out of a sense of hopelessness. Our commitment is to create a home where residents can come and find self-worth and the resources to live out the fullness of their worth. We believe an environment that fosters equality and mutual respect, thus encouraging individual as well as communal responsibility, is the best way to break these debilitating cycles.
Steve Sipka and Issac Horwedel live with the men and spend every waking minute helping and working to make lives better!
The Paramount Theatre has been in the Anderson, Indiana community for nearly 78 years and is one of the more beautiful buildings in the state.
The historic Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom in Anderson, Indiana has taken on a $3 million capital campaign to aid in completing the restoration and improving service and value to our customers and community. Proceeds from the campaign will be used to renovate space on the second floor to provide additional meeting and banquet space that would resemble the décor and style of the third floor Hardacre Ballroom.
Additionally, a 75-foot loading dock and service elevator will be constructed behind the building to increase access to the stage and upper floors. This increased access, along with updated and expanded dressing rooms underneath the Paramount stage, will create suitable facilities to host off-Broadway shows.
