Great post.I think social media is a great way for anybody to sell themselves. I want to work in social media marketing and I think a blog gives you a tangible asset to demonstrate your knowledge.

Fewer barriers to entry=Far better conversions. I'd also argue for the ugly contact form opposed to the phone number (mainly because people don't believe that the one listed IS my actual cell #).
