Believing that the best path forward is either 'big thinking' or 'small thinking' is trap common to most management endevours. We need both and often simutaneously. That said 'big thinking' usually involves conceptualisation and framing which essentially sets the stage. The imagination of the concept means that the impact of the implementation will be the greater.
