GoDaddy a No-Go. Screw them.

I have always enjoyed using GoDaddy here and there because of their hosting connection and plug-ins for sites like WordPress and other apps. It was easy for me to navigate. Recently I have run into some problems with searching for domains and a couple of days later finding them bought up from sites like About Domain and Domain by Proxy. I have also found multiple accounts where friends have searched for 10-20 domain names and then finding them all purchased by the end of the day.

I am officially done with GoDaddy and I encourage everyone who uses them to pull out of the site as well. Screw GoDaddy.

  1. Using GoDaddy.com I searched 20 potential domain names for a client on Friday. Imagine my surprise when I discovered all 20, the good, the bad and the unusual were purchased just hours after I searched them.

I can understand 1 -2, but all 20? Now how is that possible?

Like Kyle, I am done with GoDaddy. Does anyone have another source they use for domain searches?
